How to Install CricFy TV APK on Android

Follow these 5 steps to install CricFy TV on any Android phone or tablet. Takes less than 3 minutes — no technical knowledge needed.

Time: ~3 minutes Requires: Android 7.0+ Cost: Free

Installation Steps

  1. Download the CricFy TV APK

Tap the download button below to save the latest CricFy TV APK file (~18 MB) directly to your Android device. Make sure you have at least 50 MB of free storage space.

    Download APK
  2. Enable "Install from Unknown Sources"

Because CricFy TV is not on the Play Store, Android blocks APK installs by default. You need to allow your browser (or file manager) to install apps.

    Android 8.0 and above:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap Apps › Special App Access (or Install Unknown Apps)
    3. Find your browser (e.g. Chrome) and toggle "Allow from this source" ON

    Android 7.0 and below:

    1. Go to Settings › Security
    2. Enable "Unknown Sources"
    3. Tap OK on the warning prompt
  3. Locate the Downloaded APK File

Open your File Manager app and go to the Downloads folder. You should see "CricFy TV.apk" (or similar). If you cannot find it, check your browser's Downloads list.

Tip: On most Android phones the file manager is called "My Files" (Samsung), "Files by Google", or "File Manager".
  4. Tap the APK to Install

Tap on the APK file. Android will show a permissions screen. Review the permissions and tap "Install". The installation takes about 10–20 seconds.

If you see "App not installed" error, uninstall any older version of CricFy TV first, then try again.

  5. Open CricFy TV and Start Watching

Tap "Open" after install completes. Browse the channel list, find your match, select a server link, and enjoy live cricket or football in HD — completely free.

Done! You can now watch IPL, PSL, BPL, T20 World Cup, Champions League, Premier League and 500+ more channels for free.

Installation Troubleshooting

Uninstall any previous version of CricFy TV first. Then try installing the new APK. Also make sure you have enough free storage (50 MB minimum).

This usually means the APK file is corrupted or incomplete. Re-download the APK and try again. Make sure the download finished completely before installing.

Clear the app cache: Settings › Apps › CricFy TV › Clear Cache. If it still crashes, uninstall, restart your phone, and reinstall the APK.

Switch to a different server link — each match usually has 3–5 options. Also try a Wi-Fi connection instead of mobile data for better stability.

Sideloading an APK file is a straightforward process, but differences in Android versions can occasionally lead to errors. If you experience issues while setting up the app, refer to this troubleshooting checklist.

Why is the “Install” Button Greyed Out?

On some Android devices, when you open the APK installer screen, the “Install” button may be greyed out or non-clickable, while the “Cancel” button works fine. This is usually caused by a screen overlay app running in the background (such as a blue light filter, screen dimmer, or custom launcher). These apps draw over the screen, and Android blocks the install button to prevent “tapjacking” (where a malicious app tricks you into clicking a button you cannot see).

How to fix: Temporarily disable or close any screen overlay apps, custom dimmers, or floating widgets, then open the APK file again. The install button should now be clickable.

Resolving the “App Not Installed” Error

This is the most common installation error and usually has three causes:

  1. Conflicting Package: An older version of CricFy TV is already installed on your device. Android cannot overwrite the package if the developer signature has changed. Fix: Uninstall the old version completely before installing the new one.
  2. Corrupted Download: The APK file download was interrupted. Fix: Delete the file, clear your browser cache, and re-download from our Download Page.
  3. Incompatible Version: The APK file is compiled for a newer Android version than your device supports. Check version specifications on our Android Compatibility Hub.
