CricFy TV on Android 15 — Compatibility & Install Guide
Android 15 (Vanilla Ice Cream) is Google’s latest mobile operating system. While CricFy TV v6.7 is fully compatible with Android 15, Google has introduced strict security and permission policies for sideloaded apps. This guide explains how to install CricFy TV on Android 15 and bypass the “Restricted Settings” lock.
Android 15 Compatibility Verdict: Supported
Our testing confirms that CricFy TV runs smoothly on Android 15. Standard features such as HD quality selection, multiple server configurations, and picture-in-picture (PiP) mode work correctly. However, Android 15 enforces stricter sandboxing rules that require manual user configuration during setup.
How to Install and Configure on Android 15
Step 1: Download the APK
Go to our CricFy TV Download page and download the latest v6.7 APK. Store it in your Downloads folder.
Step 2: Allow Sideloading Permission
When you open the APK file, Android 15 will prompt you to authorize installation: go to Settings › Apps › Special App Access › Install Unknown Apps, select your browser, and toggle Allow from this source to ON. For detailed setup steps, see our CricFy TV Install Guide.
Step 3: Bypass “Restricted Settings” (Accessibility & Notifications)
Android 15 automatically places sideloaded apps in a “Restricted Settings” sandbox. This blocks the app from obtaining accessibility or background notification permissions, which are required for update alerts and smooth PiP operations. If you see a warning that settings are restricted:
- Go to your phone’s Settings.
- Tap Apps, then tap All Apps.
- Find and select CricFy TV in the list.
- Tap the **three-dot menu (⋮)** in the top-right corner of the App Info screen.
- Tap Allow Restricted Settings.
- Enter your device passcode or fingerprint to authenticate.
You can now go back into CricFy TV and grant the necessary permissions without blockages.
Privacy Tip: Use Android 15 “Private Space”
Android 15 introduces Private Space, a secure system profile that isolates sensitive applications from your primary device data. Because CricFy TV requests boot permissions, we highly recommend setting up Private Space in your settings and installing CricFy TV inside it. This keeps your primary contacts, accounts, and files isolated. Learn more about app permissions on our Safety Disclaimer page.
